Dr. Kristy Cho

MD, FRCSC

Dr. Kristy Cho is a gynecologist and a fertility specialist. Growing up in Hong Kong and then Chilliwack, she went on to complete her undergraduate medical training at the University of British Columbia. After completing medical school and her obstetrics and gynecology residency, she achieved an additional Royal College accredited fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

 

Dr. Cho has carried out numerous research projects aimed at improving women's health, including projects to better understand ultrasound use in early pregnancy, the prognosis of patients with recurrent pregnancy loss, and the efficacies of various fertility treatment protocols. She was recognized for excellence in minimally invasive surgery in 2019.

 

Dr. Cho believes that she has the most rewarding job. She feels extremely privileged to be able to care for patients and help them navigate their fertility journey. She understands that the decision to build a family is such an important milestone. She is dedicated to patient-centred care and she is fluent in English and Cantonese.

 

In her spare time, Dr. Cho enjoys spending time with her adorable cat, her family and friends. She takes advantage of being a Vancouverite; she enjoys hiking, stand-up paddleboarding and biking around the Seawall.
