We had quite the journey: 3 miscarriages, including losing a twin pregnancy. Each time we had ultrasounds with heartbeats before losing them. We had 1 failed IUI and 2 IVF treatments before deciding to try a donor egg cycle in Seattle. When that failed we were waiting to start another round with a frozen embryo when we got pregnant naturally. I was 42 years old. We were very scared to get excited as we had miscarried so many times. However, our miracle baby was born nine months later! He is now a happy and healthy 8-year-old.
Although we eventually did get pregnant naturally our infertility journey and treatments are a huge part of our story and we are so grateful for the support and help we received from Dr. Taylor. It was one of the hardest obstacles we went through but we got our happy ending.
