Dr. Katherine Wise

MD, FRCSC

Dr. Katherine Wise completed her medical school at the University of Western Ontario in London and then headed west to do her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Calgary. She started her general Obstetrics and Gynecology practice in Kelowna in 1998. Dr. Wise recognized a desperate need for more options for patients with infertility in the Okanagan. This inspired her to seek further training in Reproductive Medicine at one of the leading IVF centres in Canada. She is co-founder and Medical Director of Kelowna Regional Fertility Centre (now Olive Fertility Centre in Kelowna), established in 2008. She is the proud recipient of the  SOGC Millennium Fellowship award (for community based specialists seeking additional clinical training). In addition, she also works regularly with medical students in the Southern Medical Program as a Clinical Instructor at UBC.

Dr. Wise feels privileged to work with a dedicated team of professionals here in Kelowna and in Vancouver to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to her infertility patients.

Inclusion of all gender and sexually diverse people is an important value of Olive Fertility Centre. We are continuously striving to create an environment of compassionate belonging where all of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community are supported, valued and respected.
